Disability Inclusion Action Plan

What is the Disability Inclusion Action Plan

The Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2017-2021 is a living document that will guide us to be leaders in creating a more liveable community for all.

In creating the document several community consultations took place with a number of people with a disability, their families, carers and service providers

The plans objectives cover four key areas including;

  • developing positive community attitudes and behaviours
  • creating liveable communities
  • supporting access to meaningful employment
  • improving access to services through better systems and processes

“Wagga Wagga City Council’s Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2017-2021 demonstrates our ongoing commitment to accessibility and inclusiveness for people living with a disability across our community”
