Cycling network

CONSULTATION CONCLUDED: Thank you for taking part. Your feedback will be collated and presented to a coming Council meeting .

----

Planning for a commuter cycling network in Wagga Wagga is currently underway and Council is seeking your input on the proposed routes.

Cycling infrastructure is consistently identified as a priority by the community and was one of the most frequently raised topics in the development of the Wagga Wagga Integrated Transport Strategy.

The endorsed Active Travel Plan identifies five strategic routes linking the outer suburbs with the CBD, and has been recognised as a priority cycling project by the NSW Government, with $11.7M in funding allocated to the project.

Following additional analysis, the strategic routes have been reviewed and refined into 10 key cycling links that will be the basis of the business case component of the project.

Council is working with stakeholders and the broader community to finalise these 10 cycling links.

Join the conversation by registering and commenting on any or all of the link designs below, and taking the shared path user survey.

Alternatively you can email your thoughts to cycling@wagga.nsw.gov.au
